December Designs

Here it is…the end is near!!! Say your goodbyes to 2017 and greet the New Year with a smile in your heart and creativity in your spirit!!!

I mean that, with everything that is me and the blessings that surround me.   Despite a very strange mixture of happenings, I have had a wonderful holiday season surrounded by loving family and friends, filled with celebrations of good food, a roof over my head, and creative work to do.

I hope for everyone the same, warmth, joy and plenty.

I plan to begin the new year with some art adventures I will be sharing with you all, on a daily basis beginning January 3 (you are gonna get plenty of Mishy).  Musical and Visual art will be included and possibly some new creative ventures that I have not even thought of yet!  Video, livestream, audio files, photographs …all may be a part of this.  Then, in February, I plan to take part in my second annual February Album Writing Month adventure, with the intention of using my idea to write a Blues Rock Opera based on Pottery as a Metaphor for Life.  More on that later.

Recording took a backseat while I recuperated from whatever bug it was that decided it needed to visit me.  I am finally feeling the potential to actually sing a decent track on my current original project so I will be getting back to that with the upcoming weeks.  Rest and getting through the holiday was of the highest priority and it seems that success has been had!  The holidays are just about over and so is this unwanted flu bug.

I hope you are able to watch the Mishy Monday Mash, it is something I enjoy putting together every week, then going with the flow and the MishMash potpourri.  Entirely enjoyable having the ability to interact while performing and get immediate feedback, I really like that aspect.  To see past Mashes (36 weeks worth) visit

With that I am going to leave you, for the remainder of 2017 I intend to keep an even keel, not allow the waves of life to overwhelm me and be grateful for every crazy moment!!   I want to send out vibes of peace, love and abundance for all.  Go out and create!!

Love to All,

December Delights

Greetings Fellow Earth Beings!

Wow, here we are already halfway through this final month of 2017, preparing to bid adieu to the year.

I have had a pretty crazy couple weeks, making pottery, working the clay studio, writing music, recording music, watching grandkids, same old stuff but at a fairly intense pace just now!  The Patreon launch was fun and happily I got a couple patrons right off the first day (THANK YOU!  <3  You know who you are)….  It is motivation and inspiration and I am so very grateful!!

Finalized a pottery commission this week, and began work on a couple upcoming projects, mostly cleaning the studio up for our holiday open house and setting it up all purty.   We have our 19th Annual this year and as always we have live music, pottery demonstrations, games, great food and firespinning at dark!   Please join us if you can, it runs noon to 7pm this Sunday December 17, 2017.

Some of Mishy’s crazy clay creations-

This past week a  Christmas song started writing itself in my head when Hanukkah suddenly arrived and my brain switched, so I finished the Hanukkah song but the Christmas song is still in progress.  Sometimes they are just gifted from the creative pool flow!

Recording has been going really well for me, finally feel like I am getting a handle on the first stage (getting the sound onto digital), next is ‘mixing’ then ‘mastering’ once I finalize the ‘recording’ part.  I have most of it done and edited other than vocals.  Can’t wait to be ready to share it!!!  It certainly is a complicated, and intriguing process.  Less is more but I want more and more!!

Please post a comment, share and above all please create, it’s good for all of us!!

Be safe, be healthy, be joyous and above all be creative this season and all seasons!  Peace, prosperity, health and happiness to all!!

I will be posting again before 2018 arrives!  Enjoy the rest of this precious year, what little is left.  Love and Light,
